Mug Cakes

Time: Less than 10 minutes

Biscoff Mug Cake

Ingredients

Per each mug

  • 60g Biscoff spread (plus extra for topping)
  • 60ml Semi-skimmed milk
  • 40g self-raising flour
  • 20g White chocolate chopped into chunks for topping

Instructions

  1. If you are worried about consuming raw flour, heat treat it first.
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a large mug, and mix well so the flour is no longer stuck to the bottom of the mug.
  3. For a 700w microwave, microwave one mug for 1 minute 20 seconds. For two mugs microwave for 2 minutes.
  4. Once cooked, top with extra Biscoff spread.

Extra Chocolatey Chocolate Mug Cake

Ingredients

Per each mug

  • 4 tbsp self raising flour
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 20g milk, dark or white chocolate chunks (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chocolate spread
  • whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large mug, combine all the ingredients (except the chocolate spread) ensuring the dry ingredients are not stuck to the bottom of the mug.
  2. Once combined, spoon the chocolate spread on the top.
  3. For a 700w microwave, microwave one portion for 2 minutes or two portions for 3 minutes 15 seconds.
  4. Allow to cool for 1 minute and top with whipped cream.
